Please read the information below regarding the legality of purchasing wine from our site.

 The  list of states that do accept shipment is a guideline.  Certain states do have additional laws regarding direct wine shipment.  By purchasing  wine, you affirm that you are familiar with your state laws regarding direct shipment, and are in compliance.  In addition, by purchasing, you are  21 years of age or older.  Additionally, all shipments of alcoholic beverages within the United States require an adult's signature at the time of delivery.  We will arrange for shipment on behalf of our customer, to an address specified by our customer, provided that Mad Violets in its sole judgement believes that such shipment will not subject Mad Violets to the risk of any sort of legal action or other harm.  If a customer lives in a state where the direct shipment of wine by Mad Violets violates the law, we suggest that the customer provide an alternative address in another state or have their wine shipped to a third-party storage facility in a direct shipping-friendly state.

States we can ship to:  Arizona, California, Colorado, Connecticut, District of Columbia, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Illinois, Iowa, Louisiana, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oregon, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, Vermont, Washington, Wisconsin, West Virginia, Wyoming.  We ship to Alaska and Hawaii but ground shipping is not available. 

No Ship States:  Alabama, Arkansas, Delaware, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Montana, New Jersey, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Dakota, Tennessee, Utah

If you place an order to a state where we cannot ship, your order will be canceled and you will not be charged.

During periods of extreme weather (hot or cold) we may suggest that an order be held until temperatures moderate before shipping via ground.   We will send you an email with shipping information and tracking numbers.  Wines may be sold and delivered only to persons who are at least 21 years old.  In placing your order you represent to us that you are at least 21 years old and that the person to whom delivery will be made is at least 21 years old.  When your wines are delivered, the person receiving delivery will be required to show identification proving that he or she is at least 21 years old.
